I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy 4. the only cases at the physical store where I got the phone were a wallet type thing you woud need to flip open all the time, and otterbox in Black only. hubs got the black otterbox.
I don't want a full on wallet type thing, I would like something more colorful and funky than Black, and I want something that protects but isn't bulky, hubs otterbox seems really chunky like it wouldn't slip easily in and out of a pocket, ( I havn't tried though, maybe it would????)
So where do you buy yours, what brands do you like and how much is a good price to pay??? $80 for the otterbox seemed a lot to me.
I got an otterbox at walmart.com. I wasn't going to, but I dropped my phone at the store and I knew with me being a klutz and letting my daughter play minecraft on it, I was going to need something hardy. It is harder to slip in my pocket on some pants, but it's been dropped a lot with no problem.
Amazon! Huge selection and good prices. Beware of shipping costs and where it's being shipped from as lots of their vendors are overseas.
I use an OtterBox Commuter on my iPhone 5s and have no problem putting it in my butt pocket. I've also dropped it too many times to mention and so far, its survived.
I bought mine online, Amazon. You can also check Etsy for funky fun cases.
the store where i bought my iphone had a great selection, and no more expensive ($50) than anywhere else. but if they hadn't i'd have gone to amazon.

Unless you're constantly dropping your phone, using it near water, or work at a job where it could get banged around, an otterbox is a waste of money. I bought a case for my phone that makes it look like a Starfleet communicator on Cafe Press for $20.
Otter box is a more expensive brand. I know many people swear by it and say it's worth every penny. I just bought a slim case for my IPhone. Couldn't tell you the name, but I bought it in the store for $30?
Is there another cell phone store near you? You could probably find something at Walmart or Best Buy. I would think lots of places would have cases for your phone.
Otter box. Makes it much harder to lose phone. That's right it won't slip out of pocket easily. You can get an Otterbox at Target for $50.
I have the IPhone 5 and I hate the Otter Box. Just too bulky for me.
I got my current clear case at Staples for $15. They carry a decent selection.
I've bought others by Speck at ATT. I noticed over time that the little piece where the home button is located and where charger spot was located would break after a few months. That is why I went with a more pliable plastic case.
My daughter has the IPhone 5 as well and she buys a lot of her cases specially made... she designs them.. from Etsy. They are around $30.
ebay and amazon, I've never paid more than $5.

I love my Ballistic case for my Samsung 4. Good protection, not heavy or bulky. Can get from Amazon.
I buy mine on Amazon. Way less for Otterbox cases than you'd spend in a store. And more selection.
