I am trying to find liquid melatonin that does not contain alcohol and has been independently tested for accurate ingredents. I found information that said to look for ones with "GMP" and USP" so you know it is what it says it is. Please help...I'm in Keller

So What Happened?

Well, no luck using the Sprouts. She was still up every hour or so the first night with 1 mg, night two with 2 mg stayed up until 2AM then up every hour or so, and night three with 3 mg did nothing and awake every hour or two as usual. I guess I am just out of luck! I am definately not going to use the alcohol one though.
Sprouts brand is 3mg and is rated GMP. I found Natrol brand 1 mg carried by most stores, it is GMP certified, but it is 19% alcohol per their customer service. Wow, all that alcohol is probably why this one works to keep you knocked out. I would still prefer to find the 1 mg dosage.

I use source naturals and works well for us. We used to use the "Sprouts" brand when we lived in Tx but it was difficult because they did not always keep it in stock. Really it is hard to find in general and I am not sure what you would find that has all of your requirements but those are the brands we had success with. I have learned to not be too picky since my son WILL NOT SLEEP with out it for days. Good Luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Market Street in McKinney carries a 1mg. tablet that is sublingual, you dissolve it under the tongue. They have different flavors. The brandname is Source Naturals. My 7 yr. old is very sensitive to meds & only needs 1/4 of a tablet. it works very quickly, so we take it before we start reading our bedtime story & he's usually out in 15 min. on the nights I've given it to him.

Keller is a bit of a ways from SW Fort Worth, but Richardson's Health Foods is the best. If you ask them they will find you anything you want. I know that they will ship to you if you don't want to make the drive.

An alternative is to get the tablets, crush them up and mix them into juice or another drink. They still work as well that way.
