What Do I Do with My Dryer That Still Works?

We are having a new washer and dryer delivered this coming Saturday. My grandparents are taking my old washer to replace theirs but they don't have a gas hookup for the dryer in the small condo they just bought. What can I do with the dryer? It's Amana and still works but has no bells and whistles. Do I put it for sale somewhere? It has to be worth a little bit. Is there a place to donate it that can come get it? The delivery people will take it for a fee but I don't know what they do with it. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Put it on craigslist. Be reasonable, list all of it's features and ask for a reasonable price, if you go too high it won't sell. List it for about 2 weeks and see if you get any catch. Good luck.

How about donating to a womens shelter or call your church and ask about a family that could use it. Theres also St Vincent De Paul Society.

CS, If you don't sell it there are people looking for them on freecycle or cheapcycle.

List it for a reasonable price or best offer. Be honest about the age etc. List as cash and carry only(buyer has to pay cash and take the item).
