I'm looking for recommendations of books to take to a lesser developed nation. I'd like to take books appealing to adults, teenagers, and children. What are your favorite as well as your kids favorite books?

Ten Fingers, Ten Toes would be PERFECT! It's about babies born all over that have one thing in common, they all have ten fingers and ten toes (as everyone knows). Any Dr. Suess Book! Our 2 year old loves The Napping House, Go Dog Go, Knuffle Bunny, Knuffle Bunny Two, Llama Llama Mad at Mamma,Llama Llama Red Pajama, Bad Dog Marley, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? For a little older kids, the Magic Tree House series, The Boxcar Children Series, Trixie Belden Series, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe series, and Twilight series is good for teen and adults. Good Luck!

When my son had a book fair at his school, the teacher recommended the Skippy Jon Jones books. They are a series of books about a siamese cat who likes to pretend to be a chichuahua. My son is 3 and he likes them. I would think kids up to age 6 or 7 would like them.
