I am currently in the bay area of California and my husband and I are most likley going to relocate there in Feb. He will be working in Conyers, I need other mom's opinions as to what town to choose to live in. I prefer low populations or at least property with privicy. We have five children and schools are very high on our priority list. I know very little about that area, anything you can tell me would be so very helpful.

What can I do next?

I also live in the Youth area, and my kids attend Youth Elementary. We moved here 2 1/2 years ago from a neighboring town because of the schools, and because we found a house with trees in the backyard (that is sometimes hard to do in metro Atlanta). The nice thing about Walton County is that it is still possible to find a house with a lot of property. We really love it in Loganville. Good luck with your move!

Youth Elementary and Youth Middle are two of the best in the county. They are also building a new high school (Walnut Grove High) that Youth Middle will feed into. There is a lot of growth in the Youth community (it's not incorporated so you may not find it on the map), but still a lot of properties with land. It's also very convenient to Conyers. Good luck with your move--we like it here!

I live in Rockdale, closse to Conyers. I live in the area that is still country, where there are still horses and cows! Anything closer is horrible and so are the schools. My parents love in Loganville, which is in Walton County and they love it! The schools are good. My sister is now in high school and has gone to elementary and middle schools there. Its a really great area. I do all my shopping there! If you need any streets or names of places, just let me know!

We are in the Youth school area, too, and are VERY happy with the schools. The town is Loganville, GA. This area is nice because you can get the feel of being in the country, but there are a ton of stores that are within 15-20 minutes. We have been here 7 years, and love it here.

Hi, I live in Loganville (Walton County). My children are in Loganville Elementary and Loganville Middle. I moved here from NJ 3 1/2 yrs ago and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

The schools are great! I live in a Subdivision and have 1/4 acre lot which is very rare in this area. We recently got a new Kroger Shopping center, Walmart, HomeDepot and Lowes (opening soon) are all within 5 minutes.

The town has grown tremendously in the 3 yrs I've been here. It's one of Georgia's fastest growing cities.
