Has anyone ever used the Mini Plug In Waterless Vaporizers? Are they safe for 15 month olds? I had a cool mist humidifier, but I went to buy replacement filters and it was discontinued. I saw these and thought I would give them a try.

What can I do next?

They're safe for 15 month olds and help with the congestion because of the menthol, just remember to unplug them in the morning! I would still do a regular humidifier though because the moisture generally helps keep things loosened up.

I have one that I use when I am stopped up at night. I have to keep the door closed or it is not strong enough.

I have used the vaporizer and the cool mist humidifier in my daughter's room since her first cold when she was in infant.
It really helps her breathe easily during the night when she's sick.
Keep her/his door closed though, otherwise it's pointless.
I aslo put vaporrub on her feet and cover with socks. I was told to do this by other mamasource moms, and it works!

I tried them too, after our humidifyer quit working. They are OK. They do NOT provide moisture to the air, as they are called waterLESS! All they provide is the menthol to the room. I like them because i love the smell of vicks menthol!!!! You do have to put a new strip in there every 8 hours. There is also a night-light that is pretty bright!

They are probably safe for 15 month olds. I caked the stuff on my son whenever he was conjested.

I will probably go and buy a new humidifyer but keep these on hand (maybe pluged into my room!!)

God Bless.
