Hi everyone,

I'm going back to work full time starting next Monday. We have a part time nanny who is new to the Venice area. She wanted to know if there were any playgroups, parks, classes, etc. in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, I spent most of my time driving to different areas since I had friends in other neighborhoods. Can anyone provide me with suggestions of free classes, paid classes, nanny circles, etc., to socialize her and my 9.5 month old daughter?

I would appreciate any or all feedback. You can reply directly to me, if you would prefer.

Thanks!
S.

Ozone Park in Venice is supper cute! There is a fenced in play area for the smaller children. I work full time and my little guy is in pre-school now, but when he was younger I would take hime there sometimes. In fact I took him a couple of weeks ago and noticed about four or five nannies there with some kids. It really is a nice park small not to many cars that pass by. I believe it's on Ozone and 6th street just west of lincoln.

Hi S.. Try MOMS Club of Santa Monica/Venice. It's a great play group for moms and babies. We meet at different parks in Venice and SM area. Here's the website www.smmomsclub.com. Check it out :)

Hi S.,

You could try http://playgroupsusa.com - if you can't find a group on here your nanny could start her own.

I hope this helps
