I know in Plano there is a Mothers of Multiples group. Maybe you can check with them about a group further south.

I LEARNED from my experience. She needs to look into joining the YMCA. They will watch the kids while she works out. They also have Moms Morning Out programs. I think the YMCA is willing to work with her if money is an issue. Also some moms like the MOPS programs offered at different churches. The only problem with MOPS is sometimes it only meets monthly. Your friend needs weekly help...of course I am speaking from experience! Sometimes moms get a "moms helper"-a responsible teenager to interact with the children while she does house hold chores.

Well, I think she probably needs to find some support groups for herself, and not necessarily multiples groups, although they do exist, and maybe she could start there. It sounds like maybe she's a single mom, so getting involved in a church or some sort of play circle or mom's group, may help. If she makes some good friends maybe they can switch off taking turns of the kids, or at least maybe 1-2 of hers at a time. She can probably google some info and see what pops up. There is a website that organizes groups of people with similar interests but I just don't remember what it's called, but someone on here will probably know! That's the best advice I can really give...unless she has the option of moving closer to family and friends!

hello

i have a 7 year old and 16 months twins ,i don't have any family in here ,you did.not give any details how is she going crazy if is because the caos in the house what i do is when they are running around and don't let me do anything i put them in the pack and play and they can play there and let me do what i need to do ,i turn on the television and let them watch some show like dora,yo gabba gabba and my older kid also watch this shows

also in the afternoon i take them to the park for about 1 hour and they are running and playing.

everything with that age of kids is hard meal time is very hard because is a big mess afterwards but the first thing you need is a schedule and a lot of patience.

she can try to make some friends and if she have friends she can ask to babysit sometimes and is ok to get help sometimes ,often my friends ask me if they can watch 1 kid for about 30 min or so and i say yes you can .
emailme at ____@____.com if she want to talk
