I had no trouble at all getting pregnant with my first chirld, it took 2 wks. He is now 4 years old. I have been trying to get pregnant for several years, went thru allllllllll the testing, then they resulted to endomitriosis testing,. Well I have never had signs, cramping, hurting or such. Well the test camp back and I had it, so they did surgery and I had stage 2 to 3. The worst is stage 4. SO they have put me on Femera and Clomid..still no luck, I am using ovulation predctors and all. If anyone has had any trouble like this and has ended up pregnant, please send some encouragement my way:)...thank you soooooo much.

I did not have endomitriosis, but do have PCOS and went through years on Clomid. I finally had an experimental surgery and ended up pregnant 7 months later (after almost 6 years of trying).

I also have 2 friends with problems. They both have endomitriosis and one of them also has PCOS. The latter of the 2 was told she would never have children and was told that as a teenager, but now has a 5 year old. The other one with just endomitriosis got pregnant 6-12 months after her surgery.

Your surgery was just 2 months ago. Maybe your body just isn't quite ready yet. I am not sure of your age, but hang in there and give it some time. I KNOW how frustrating and emotional it is-like I said, I went through it for 6 years just to have my first and she is 2 1/2 now(I was 32 when I had her). You will always have your son and be thankful for that, but NEVER give up hope. My friends and I are proof that it can happen. Take care and Good luck!

I have endometriosis also. I got pregnant very quickly after my surgery with my first child and then it took a few months of trying with my second. Your surgery was so recent. Try not to stress about it too much and hopefully it will happen. Good luck!

you sound a lot like me, only i had endo with my first child, not my second, but it still took me three years to conceive my 2nd (who is still in my belly now, waiting to make an appearance sometime late feb/early march). and i still had endo surgery with both, they just didn't see any the 2nd time around. my best advice to you is listen to your doctors and your gut. pray. read The Fertility Diet and visit the website cyclediet.com. it was not until i changed my diet that i conceived my second. i cannot tell you how important that book and that website were to my journey.

Acupuncture, honey. It works! Find an acupuncturist who also does Traditional Chinese Herbal medicine.

i had stage 4 endo, and it was very aggressive. it took about 6 months for the acupuncture to get me completely well, but by the end i was able to conceive on the second month of trying.

please seriously look into acupuncture.

Hey A.,

I have a natural hormone balancing cream that helps with fertility. If you want more information let me know. Your body is probably out of whack and trying to adjust after what you have been through. Natural balancing creams do wonders for women.
Also, stress is biggest form of birth control so try not to overthink your situation and stress. Do you work out? That may help too. Good luck!

My sister-in-law had the same surgery in July and she is pregnant with her first child due in March. Hang in there. We were all worried that she could even have children and she turned up pregnant a month later. Stay positive.

It took me a year to get pregnant from the lost of my first child. I didn't know until after I lost her, that I had a condition called anticardiolipid where I apparently form blood clots. To make a long story short, a month or so after the loss of my baby, I started to use the patch (not sure if its still on the market). I was having some side effects from it so I decided to stop using it after 2 months. Really not sure if it was the patch or my condition, but I couldn't conceive for nothing. Getting pregnant the first time around was quick, but trying to get pregnant the second time was very hard and difficult. I used to get discouraged a lot. I used to use a fertility calendar and counting days but no luck. After about 6-7 months passed by, I decided I was not going to think about it anymore. And guess what happened, I got pregnant. What I trying to say is, as hard as it may seem, don't stress too much about getting pregnant. It will happen if you just relax. But your mind on other things. Now I have a 2 yo son and love him to death. I hope this helped.

I work for an infertility clinic and sometimes u need to see them and not ur regular gyn as they are not infertility specialist. i don't know how old u r but age plays a factor. just make an appt. it doesn't mean u have to go the invitro route.

Hi A.,

I am single mom of 5. Your body is saying to you that it is not ready to carry a child properly right now. Listen to it. I will talk to you about why from a physical and nutritional standpoint. FYI. It really is a big deal for you and an unborn child. Give me a call if you like. The drugs are harming your body, only weakening your chances for health God bless!

Hi A.,
The condition I had was considered worse that Endometrosis. I literally lost about 1/3 of my entire uterus and was told by 3 different specialists that I would never be able to carry a child full term, much less deliver! WEll... IT was with a Chiropractor's help that I now have my 4yr old, whom I carried full term (actually a week over:)), had a wonerful pregnancy and labored 24hrs and delivered naturally! After I heard nothing but doom after every other doctor I saw, I opened up to going back to basics and giving my body what it needed. I had my hormones tested (Estrogen and Progestorne) thru ZRT labortory and the results indicated that my Prog. was a little low. I started using KAL's natural prog. cream once a day. I was being adjusted by my Chiropractor once a week. I had 2 cycles on the cream with Chiropractic care and I was pregnant. This was after a year of hearing it would never happen. When my other doctor found out I was pregnant, he said I would loose it soon. Needless to say, he was wrong and I never went back to him! Go back to the basics... If you arent seeing a Chiropractor now, then start! I am now a Chiropractor myself and you would be AMAZED how much we can help with fertitilty! Its like trying to water your garden with a brick on the hose...you cant fully get all the water. Your body is the same! Your spine contains every nerve for every single function in your body! If misaligned bones put pressure on your nerves that carry supply to your reproductive organs then you cant possibily get pregnant. Same theory with the hormones, estrogen and progestrone have to be in the right ratio in order to conceive.
I really hope this helps you. There is still hope so please dont give up, regardless of who says what! Best of luck;)

I also have endomitriosis, but have not had the surgery. We have a 15 month old and our second on the way due late March/early April. My Dr. had my husband and I both cut out all caffeine and started me on prenatal vitamins while we tried. After the first pregnancy the endomitriosis went into remission and I haven't had a problem since. Hang in there I think the diet website was a great place for resources. I only ate what you can eat while you are pregnant while we were trying for our son. What your husband does also effects the process, so he may need to make some changes as well. My husband did not want to give up the caffeine but when he did we got pregnant fairly quickly.
