Does anyone know of a transportation service that will take a child from his home in Naperville to a private school in LaGrange and return him after school to his home in Naperville?
Call the school and ask, they usually have this kind of information, or can at least point you in the right direction.
There's a company based in Downers Grove called Kids Kab that does this. http://kids-kab.com/
Around here there is a service called Kars for Kids. They transport children to and from school and/or activities for a fee. This is a private business and they carry the proper insurance. I would try googling to see if there is anything in your area. Also, ask at the school and ask some of the parents in your neighborhood. You could also call your local child care council. They would probably also have this information.
try asking the school about Universal Transportation systems. they are the vans and stuff you see out on the road. It has to be setup through the school though
I thought there was another kid's taxi type thing in Naperville called Mom's Taxi or something like that. But that was about 15 yrs ago so not sure if they still exist.
Another idea is to call North Central College or COD and ask them to put a job listing for you in where ever they have them.
Have you tried networking with the parents of your child's schoolmates? I think it's a viable option.
I think you will do better if you put your location in the title of your post - you'll get more notice from people in your area. Just put "school transportation in Naperville/LaGrange IL" in the title. Good luck.
Contact the school to see if they are aware of anyone who can offer those services.
