i have 5 childeren 2 belong to my fiance, we r getting the 2 older boys and i need to combine my 4year old daughter and my 1 year old son in a bedroom together to make space i work temp jobs here and there....needless to say money is tight i am in search of two toddler beds same colr if possible (color or style doesnt matter would just like them to match)my sister has given us bedding but she got rid of her beds to a co worker(she had twins) any suggestions please let me know. ive been craigslist surfing for 2 weeks and have only come on 1 bed -thanks
You might want to try www.twincitiesfreemarket.org and www.freecycle.org for give aways.
Also, a quick coat of paint will make unmatched beds look cute together. That's what my Mom did when I was a kid. We never had matching stuff, but we didn't care.

Consider bunk beds. There are many on Craigslist, and some great deals. Your two year old could sleep just fine in the lower bunk with a bed rail for a while. Five is plenty old for the top bunk, as long as you have some rules for safety. If you get bunk beds, you'll have more floor space and won't have to worry about getting another bed or two next year when the 5 year old grows out of the toddler bed!
not sure if you are close to St Paul...but there were 2 toddler beds at the thrift store at Sunray mall...both were $10 each and came with mattress. also, on craigslist post a wanted item...someone might respond that way.
