Tips on Potty Training

Everything mentioned is what I did. My daughter tried at 18 months I think she went once and that was it. Around 2 we tried again and she was interested occasionally. We did the potty chair while mommy went. At 2 1/2 we went to diapers on at night and outings. She began to only want panties on. About a week of Panties during the day and she was fully trained night and day dry. She was having accidents once a week to now I don't remember the last one. Everykid learns differently and the best tool is patience. I don't believe in scolding for accidents, they happen. she even went on the floor a couple of times and I had to redirect.
Now our only issue with potty is it stalls bedtime nightly. but we are working on that too

Go ahead and get the potty... My suggestion would be to make sure it has handles on the side. For some reason it helps them feel like they won't fall off as easy. Let he sit on the potty fully clothed when you go on the big potty...
Does she stay dry at night?
With our daughter it worked well to give her stickers for going potty... It was right after her 2nd b-day that she kicked in to the potty training thing and she was in panties after a week with little to no accidents.
(Our boys took/ take longer)
Pay attention to her ques and don't force her into it.... It only stresses us as moms and the kids out when its forced before they are ready...

what i did with all 5 of my girls was the time pee wich that mean i set my watch to go off every 30 min that told us it was time to potty so we would go sit on the potty for a few min and they all caught on right away most time it took was a week and a half to be out of the pamper stage (and what ever you do once you make up your mind to potty train don't go back a forth to pampers even if your out and about the 30 min time still apply

My daughter showed the same ones as yours at 18 months, with that being said, she is almost 2 1/2 and still not potty trained. I got her a seat right away and she would love to sit on it, but never really went. She finally caught on with going in the potty, so I tried doing the undies with her...I got tired of washing a billion pairs of underwear, so I stopped that too (I did that method for a week). My personal advice is give her the opportunity to do it, but don't force it. I don't know a 10 year old who doesn't know how to go to the potty!

I am gathering advice on all the tips I have heard and storing them for when I have to potty train. Here are some that are "out-of-the-ordinary" that have worked for my friends: Change her diapers in the bathroom while she is standing up. Let her see the steps of pulling down her pants and see the diaper coming off. Talk to her about pee-pee and poo-poo goes in the toilet.
The other idea is to have one day where you put her in a t-shirt and panties and get her to drink a ton of liquid in one day. Early in the day she will go in her underwear don't scold her but take her to the potty and show her over and over. By the end of the day, she will understand the feelings of peeing and know when she has to go.
