Stubborn Warts

Hi moms,

This is really a statement rather than a question. I'm just so excited about this that I had to share it. I've had stubborn warts on my hands and feet for about 4 years and my son has had a pretty bad wart problem on his feet. I've tried many things and nothing has worked for us - until now. Vitamin A did the trick. I bought 25,000 IU Vitamin A capsules online. They look just like Vitamin E capsules. I would prick the capsule with a pin and apply to the warts everyday. Mine are completely gone - not a trace of them and it only took a couple of weeks. My sons are taking a little loger but his case is a little worse. They've improved dramatically though. Anyway, I just wanted to share my story for others who might be at their wits end with a wart problem.

Jen

OMG! Thank you for that advice. I have the little most annoying one on my thumb and have frozen it off 5 times with minimal results. I will try that and hope it works. What a joy to try it - thank you :)

That's awesome. Just remember vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin therefore you can overdose.

Hi Jen,

Were the capsules made of beta carotene? I bought 23,000 iu
of it at a natural health store.

Our doctor said to use duct-tape. We bought funky colors at the hardware store and every day wrapped my daughter's 2 fingers with a thin strip of duct tape. I even put extra strips on one of those sample credit cards ("your name here")in case she needed a new piece at school. It took some weeks but supposedly the duct tape "suffocates" the wart and the stickiness takes a little layer off every day. Eventually she pulled off the tape and the last remaining ball of flesh was stuck to the tape and she had a little dimple in her finger that went away after about a week. Perhaps using both the vitamin A and the duct tape to cover them would speed things up for your son.

Oh my gosh - I'm psyched! my son is 7 and has a large wart on his hand. It's like the size of a dime! He had his first one last year on the opposite hand, we had it froze off and it was torture for him - but it did go completelty away. So we've tried the freeze away at home for this one and it has made it flatter, but not not smaller in dimension at all, AND it's still here. He did deal with the pain assoc. with the freezing much better. I'm going to get some vit A right away, and can't wait to try it!. Thank you so much for sharing your good news!.

Jen,
I'm excited to try it. My poor daughetr has inherited her Dad's wart problem. She had only one on her knee but now 2 more just popped up but these are on her big toe. They appear to be flat and planter warts. I hope this will help remove them painlessly.
