Stroller for a 2 Year Old

I left our stroller (Peg Perego Pliko P3, which we loved) out on our front porch last weekend. My husband assumed I put it away and I assumed he put it away. When we went to get it out today, it was no where to be found. Presumably, someone stole it off our porch. (Sad isn't it.) Our daughter turned 2 in June, so it's not quite time to be done using a stroller. At the same time, we don't want to spend too much, as she probablty won't be using it too much longer. Can anyone suggest a good stroller for toddlers that isn't too expensive? My husband and I are both relatively tall, so that needs to be taken into consideration. The stoller will be used mostly on paved, but bumpy, outdoor surfaces. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

What can I do next?

I would check out craigslist.com they always have deals on things. People are always trying to get rid of their stuff and this is a great resource.

If you like buying things online go the way of Craig's List. I have not used them but my parents have as well as many other moms.

I have the Baby Trend cheap stroller, got it from Babies R Us for like $50... it has a nice size basket, a removable tray in the front for the little one and a tray on top for the parent. My husband is 6 ft (so not super tall but tall enough) and loves the stroller because he dose not feel acwared pushing it. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2671817

If you want to buy new and spend even less then $50 then go with an umbrella stroller can usually get one pretty cheap $10-$15. Here are links to other options:
$20 comes in various colors... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2785252
$30 http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2542535

Best of luck finding something that will work for your family!

Are you planning on having more children? If so, I'd purchase another Peg...I'm a fan of their too! We bought a Pliko P3 when our first was born 4.5 years ago and we used it to death for our first two children. We just purchased a new Peg (the Venezia) because we are now expecting our third and our other one was really worn out. Strollers can be expensive, but are a big necessity and like everything else, you get what you pay for! If you plan on your daughter being an only child I'd probably go the used route at this point for a good stroller...but if you think you'll add to your family, I'm just buy a new one knowing you'll use it for years to come. Best of luck and sorry for your stolen stroller...that's terrible!!!

Maclarren all the way!

The have the cheaper model at Target for $100 or the more elaborate models at Babies R Us for more.

I've owned stroller after stroller..Graco,Chicco,PegPerego,Cheap Umbrella, you name it I swear by Maclarren it pushes very nicely and is great for taller people. They also have a higher weight limit like 55lbs or something so great for toddlers. My daughter was in our Maclarren til she was pushing 5years old almost when we were out somewhere with alot of walking and it was the only stroller that wasn't a chore to push her.

I bought a Chicco stroller at Babies R Us a few months ago. Its red, has a sun canopy, 5pt harness, and a basket underneath. it folds up like an umbrella, but its much much taller and sturdier. It was $50. My youngest is almost 3 and we use it all the time, definently a good buy on a budget!
