Special Needs Moms, Would You Be Interested?

After my post today I get the feeling there are a lot of moms who are raising special needs kids. I have this blog that I set up but never used. I could tweak it to be more of a message board in that I can add people who could start posts and people could comment back and forth. It would be kinda a support group where you could post good days, bad days, funny stories, I want to rip my hair out stories.

Do you think this would be something you would be interested in?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Okay, so here is where I am. I will tweak with the blog tonight. Tomorrow I will post a link if that isn't against the rules. If it is against the rules I will message everyone who said they were interested. :)

So I am home now. I get to meet my dad's whatever she is tonight so this blog should be a nice distraction. :) Riley, lord I understand, thankfully the blog emails me so I won't neglect it.

I will probably need another admin if it takes off. I probably won't kick anyone out. I prefer moderating over smiting. In my opinion the opinions that are not your own can be the best opinions to hear. Just because of the subject I may have to ask for rewording. :)

I would be interested. My 4 yr. old grandson was evaluated for Sensory Integration Disorder or Sensory Processing Disorder, no telling what the DSM 5 will actually call it next year when it comes out but it will be under the same umbrella as Aspergers and Autism.

I don't have a child with special needs, but I think I would really like that...if I did.

I would be interested in this too! I am just starting the process of seeing if my 2 yr old has some kind of special needs.

Interested? Yes. Able to follow through with said interest? :D Oy. 50/50

If the blog ends up being difficult to set up for such an adventure, check out setting up a yahoo group (I'm on a dozen homeschooling boards through yahoo groups... it works *fantastic* as boards similar to this one -but instead of a single post only whole threaded conversations can happen-, but it's without without the huge amount of time/oversight of a site like this since the framework is already built in. <grin> And as the moderator of the board, you can kick any of us who annoy you off.) I just bring it up because I have VERY little experience with blogs and have no idea how troublesome it would be for you.
