Would like to know if anyone knows what we can do with our 2 year old twins - on the weekend in the morning. We live in Ravenna, Ohio, however Ravenna doesn't offer tumbling, swimming, etc. Its too cold out to be outside, and although they LOVE shopping, we can't take them shopping all the time.

What can I do next?

Hi S., I hear ya there is not much to keep them occupied this time of year!! Kent Roosavelt high school has open swimming on SAT afternoons, Kent State has the fitness center and there are TONS of things to do but is pricey, there are 2 good play McDonalds one is in Tallmadge and one in Streetsboro, there is a very nice clean roller skateing rink in Garrettsville, also I love going to the library in Ravenna it has a nice little area 4 the kids and you can read to them and there are usually other children there 2. They also have lap read and movies for kids. Also the craft stores have ooodles of stuff you can buy & make @ home

Hello,
I also live in Ravenna, Ohio. Kent State offers swim lessons on Saturday mornings. I have taken my daughters there and they loved it. The class you would be in is called diaper dolphins, if I remember correctly!!

Streetsboro community center offers tumbling class for anyone , I just think you would have to pay $5 more then streetsboro residents. Also I think KSU has youth activities they do for the winter months. Good luck, J.

Have you ever heard of Help Me Grow? I would get them involved with Help Me Grow. I think that they would like that. I would check into that. THey meet every month or 2 for an activity with other children around the same age. My son was in help me grow he really enjoyed it. It goes up to age 3.
