What small gift can I buy for hubby for V-day?

I am looking for something inexpensive that I can p/u easily & quickly.

I bought a box of candy for the entire family to enjoy (for a great price).

I think I may make: marinated tri-tip, mashed potatoes, a veggie & possibly a baguette of bread.

I have a couple of small things for the kids. It's just fun for me! :)

TIA

What can I do next?

I'm being corny and making a gift, hollowed out a lightbulb, bought red wire and molded into a heart on top and twisted remaining straight. Putting the hearth (filament) into the bulb and attaching it to a little box with a note that says 'You light up my world" If you have pintrest just search valentine crafts and it should pop up. Under $5 but I know he's going to smile more over that than buying him something ;)

Rachael D has the right idea, "Wear heels... just heels."
Like E.S. said, "Smaller and thoughtful is better, IMO."

You can get your christmas wrapping stuff out and use one or three small bows with the sticky tape on the back to wear with the high heels.

There is a book at Barnes and Nobel, "101 Nights of Great Sex". Wrap it up and tell him he can pick one or you will pick one.

Hope you have a nice time.

Good luck to you and yours.

I get my husband a really good beef jerky or his favorite Italian sausage, thin sliced coppa b/c he loves those and I can't afford to get them in my typical grocery budget.

I am writing a list of all of the things I love about my hubby and giving that to him! We don't like to buy too much for each other.

Does he have a music selection he's been hinting at? Does he have a sports team that he adores?

I usually take the simple route. I write down things he says that I think would make a great gift.

For example--the Giants won the Superbowl so I will add to his Giant's gear collection.

Food-wise, I am a horrible cook but know he loves eggplant rolatini (sp?) so I am going to pick some up at our favorite Italian restaurant.

And then there's a fun balloon from DD.

Smaller and thoughtful is better, IMO.

I'm getting mine, good work shoes, expensive insoles, a massaging foot bath, and eposm salts. His feet hurt because he works standing up all day. If I was just going to get him a small thing, it would be the good feet insoles. It doesn't sound romantic, but I think caring enough to want him to be comfotable and ease some of his pain at work is the very definition of love.

My husband LOVES those jumbo bars of almond soap that you can get at Marshall's......so he is getting a box of 6, a new belt, a card and a small pkg of 6 chocolate truffles . Good luck getting more ideas and have fun!

We don't do "gifts" for V-day, but we usually exchange favorite candies.

This year, however, I did get a gift certificate (and make the appoinment) for a barbershop "hot shave" and haircut. He's been complaining that he doesn't have time to get a haircut and he shaves very quickly in the morning. He'll have decent stubble by Saturday afternoon!

Does he have a favorite candy that you can get just for him? Once, I got a simple glass jar and filled it with his favorite jellybeans for his desk (and we had a lot of fun rehashing the naughty prank I pulled on him when we were dating, involving jellybeans and had fun with that). A framed picture of the family or a small collage frame of special things re: him for the office (my husband may be a nerd, but he likes showing stuff like that off). It wasn't for V-day but one time I wrote things I loved about him, or reasons I was thankful for him, and put them on little slips of paper and stuffed them in balloons. I went to his work and blew up those balloons, stuffed his car ALL THE WAY full, and left him a card, in a bag. The card had a knitting needle taped inside it, and just said "Use this needle, and this bag, to find out why I love you......at the car". When he got off work, he had to pop those balloons and a "reason" popped out of each one. He really thought that was awesome, and kept all the reasons. When I realized he was seriously keeping them all, I got him a nice "manly" looking treasure box for his dresser to put the reasons in. Making his favorite dinner or dessert is always good, or recreating a special moment (a special location, song, dress, meal, show, whatever?) from your relationship, letting him try a new class out (batting practice, martial arts, a couple laps in a racecar, etc). But yeah----always end it with just you! That's what it's all about anyway.

In addition to the heels (only heels....) buy a few bottles of airplane sized liquor. I don't know about where you live, but it's freezing here, and I'd need a little something to warm me up.

My husband is getting a handwritten note. It seems like there are always forces working against us and we're going through a bit of a challenge right now (not between us and out of our control) so I just want him to know that no matter what I'll always love him.
