I am a SAHM and my hubby's income in not overly large. I want to spruce up my living room with a nice, GOOD quality small throw (not really blanket size). Mostly just for decor. What places to look online or in store websites? Thanks

What can I do next?

I suppose it's not exactly decor, but in the spring Costco starts selling really large beach blanket towels that are very colorful and priced less than $20 per towel.
I've used them as throws, blankets (in home and in car), temp curtains, on the beach, bath towels, and outside for picnics and at the beach.
They wash up great and are very versatile.

Why don't you make one? You could knit or crochet one or even make a quilt... Or even make a tied fleece one - super simple.
Those items always mean more...

I agree with MommyofThree...all those stores have nice selections of throws for around $20. Although I have found throws are sometimes seasonal. I got one for my living room too (at Kohl's actually)--mainly for décor like you describe--but had to wait awhile until it was cooler season to find what I wanted and what coordinated. Although this may be a great time of year to find some on clearance too!

I see attractive throws at Sears, Fred Meyer, and Target. They probably have them on their web sites too. You could try any of the shopping sites advertised on TV. I can't think of their names now.

Last year we got some really nice, really soft throws at Target. I forgot original price but sale price was about $20.
