Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any input on the best brand or type of sit and stand stroller to purchase. There are so many out there to choose from and I was wondering which one was the best or if you have any opinions on what you don't like about the ones you may already have. Anyone's opinion would be very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch!!!

I have 3 daughters and I can honestly say that the strollers with the "bells and whistles" or have alot of special features are good. My first one was really plain and simple, but I sure appreciated the ones with all the storage, cup holders, toy bars etc...

Hi. We have the Baby Trend sit n stand we got from Target. I love it. My three year old didn't like being confined and the freedom to stand or get out really worked with her. It had a removable bar to snap on the car seat, so it was great then, and now that he's a toddler, it has a snack tray. In fact, we had him in there yesterday and went to a restaurant and he wanted to eat his meal from the snack tray. He didn't even want out to sit at the table.

Drawbacks: It is big and awkward to fold up. The front seat only has a slight recline position, so if he falls asleep on those big mall shopping trips, he can't lay back much. The basket underneath is very big and roomy, but sort of hard to get to. These problems might be the case for any of these strollers, tho.

I have a Baby Trend "sit and stand". We had a five year old at the time and were expecting another. We were able to use it with the infant and the five year old at the same time. It was a little heavy to push with the older one on it, but it still made life easier then having to push a stroller and make sure the five year old was keeping up. Our youngest is three now and it just sits in the basement. If you decide to buy one and you're interested in a used one that is in excellent condition send me an email at ____@____.com. I'd be willing to part with it for a lot cheaper than you can buy one now adays.

I love ours. We have the baby trend. I didn't have much of a choice 2 years ago so I can't tell you about comparing it. The only thing is to make sure you have plenty of room in the front seat. My 2 year old now loves to sit in the back while the 4 year old loves to sit in the front. She fits but it is tight.

We also have the Baby Trend one from Target. It works great for us. I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old. It is sometimes a little hard to get over bumps in the sidewalk but I think that is just from the weight difference in the front and back. Overall, we have really liked it.

Hello H.,

I have the Joovy sit and stand stroller and love it. I got it from babies-r-us. I have a 3 1/2yr old and a 1yr old. When my 2nd was born I could put the entire carrier in the front and my 3 1/2yr old could sit or stand in the other part. Now they both sit in each seat. It works well. It's a little heavy but I guess it has to be a little bit. It is very sturdy. I use it for walks, going to the mall or what ever. My older daughter can jump in and out of it with ease.

Here's the link to the stroller on the web...

Good luck,

Target sells a great one!! It is light, and both kids can be buckled in. I liked that for my 3 year old. It also has a cup holder for me!! And you don't have to order online and pay shipping costs. It is called the sit-n-stand LX.(by Baby Trend) Good luck! C.

We have a Baby Trend as well and really love it. I did a lot of research and decided to go with them because the price was good and most all the reviews I found were positive. I have a 2 1/2 year old and 10 month old so it was a must for us and both kids really enjoy the ride!
