Silly Putty Stuck on Clothing

So last night my son apparently fell asleep with a glob of silly putty in his bed (which he claims "fell" into his bed from the bookshelf across the room!). Now his pj bottoms and a quilt on his bed have globs of the stuff stuck to them. Any good ideas on how to get it off?

What can I do next?

While this has never happened I think I would treat it like gum. Rub an ice cube or put the whole thing in a freezer if you have room and try to scrap off what you can once frozen. Maybe once hard googone on the fabric may loosen it enough to pop off. Is there an 800 number for the ailly putty I bet they have been asked this question allot.

Rubbing Alcohol works wonders! Sadly, I have had to use it a few times, on clothes, couch, carpet and chair covers to name a few!

I would try RUBBING ALCOHOL (works for gum) and maybe GOO BE GONE.

I've been there, and it's no fun. I did eventually get it out, and I think I used Goo Gone. Spray it on, and wait several minutes; then scrape it off. Good luck!

I use Melaleuca Sol U Mel it works great on all that nasty stuff. It's safe and really works. If you want to know more on how to get it just let me know.

Maybe you could try freezing it first to see if it would just break or flake off.
