Hello Moms!

Since I have given birth to my 9mth old daughter my hair seems to fall out a lot! PLUS...I'm more itchy than ever. Any recommendations for a good shampoo to help with both? I miss my hair! Thank you to all!!!

THe best would Nioxin. Make sure you massage it not finger nail scrub. It really works. You should try it. YOu would see the differnce. I too have used it and I am Beautician. I have recommended to many friends and family and they are satisfied with it. It has a minty finish so it leaves your scalp feeling rejuvenated. You can buy at some salons or at the beauty supplies stores. They are on sale as a package alot ( shampoo + conditioner)

Hi MC,

My hair is falling out in clumps and my hairdresser (also a mom) said that there is not a lot you can do about it when it is related to new baby hormones. She suggested Nioxin which seems to have helped a little bit. They have a lot of different levels to choose from so you can pick the one that best fits your hair type and issue. I think all of us go through this...especially if you are breastfeeding! Our babies literally suck everything out of us! Good luck!

Hi
It may sound weird but I used Mayo, Avacado, and a store purchased in most African American beauty supplies or Walmart, a colestrol treatment. I placed a plastic cap on my head let it stay to the warmth of my body and wrapped in in a towel like I just washed my hair for 1 hour. Rinsed and it felt so moistured and air dry it felt so soft. Hair became strong no breaking. Less starnds fell out . Oh yeah I purchased silk pillow cases and a silk scarf from Macy.
Wrap it at night. It seals moisture and protects.

No hair spray. A lite spitz of oil spray and brush.
Live happy hair

MC,

I totally hear you! I swore I was going to go bald, but for me the hair loss finally began to slow once my daughter was fully weaned. It is finally begining to grow back and I Have short whispy "baby hair at the neck line, around my ears and front scalp line- now I can't wait for it to grow out- it stick up and out! My scalp was also itchy- what my hair stylist recommended was the Aveda scalp repair shampoo and conditioner. It did seem to help. I don't have the bottle with me- but if you want the exact name send me a message.
