Seeking Reasonable Affordable Dentist

I am also looking for a dentist. I'll let you know if I find a good one. I need a second opinion. I just went to one that told me I need $16,000 worth of work. I just went in to get my teeth cleaned! There is a lot of dishonesty in the dental world. My husband went to one that told him he need $8,000 worth of work. He went elsewhere for a second opinion and only spent $300 in the long run!!! And that was YEARS ago.

I recommend Dr. Sam Patel in downtown McKinney. He's very up front about how much things cost, and is totally willing to help you prioritize based upon your budget (i.e. what you need to do today to stop the pain, what you can put off for a few months until you have the money, what would be nice to do eventually if you have the money but is not a necessity).

You could try my dentist Dr. Jack Freudenfeld ###-###-####. He is at 8335 Walnut Hill. I don't know how his prices compare to other dentist, but he is honest and has never tried to sell me a service I didn't need as other dentist have done.

I broke a tooth over 10 years ago and thought I would need a crown, but he was able to fix the tooth rather than put a crown on it. A few years ago I cracked that same tooth and again thought I would need a crown, but he was able to put a band on it and I have had no problems with that tooth.
