Seeking Playgroup in Bergenfield/Dumont Area

Hi,
I'm a West Coast transplant now living in New Milford, NJ and found the local Attachment Parenting Group a wonderful way to meet people with children my age.

There is a meeting coming up on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the New Milford Public Library. The meeting begins at 10:30 am and ends at Noon.

There are many opportunities through API Bergen County to meet many interesting people.

The meetings are free and open to anyone who is a primary care giver. Men and women are welcome. The children play in the same room with parents. Bring a peanut free, healthy snack to share.

There isn't any play groups in this area. But in Paramus there's this place called kids Kazoom where you can take for playtime.
And at the Bergenfield libary there is story time on Monday mornings and Tues Afternoons. Maybe thats something. I live in bergenfield, and I know on my street there isn't alot of kids to play with either so i tried finding play groups. But there weren't any out there at the time

Hey S., I live in Dumont and would also be interested in a playgroup. I have 2 boys, 8m and 2 1/2 years. Although life is crazy with 2, I understand being bored at home.

Looks like I'm going to be meeting you on friday. :) YAY for playgroups!!!! There are a few moms groups on Yahoogroups.com that I have found. They have a calendar of events and you can pick and choose what you want to do etc. Some moms travel a bit to meet up. I haven't been able to be as active since my schedule has changed a bit. Just an idea. Email me if you want the direct link or you can search the yahoo groups for NJSAHM and there are a few different groups.
