I was wondering if anyone knew of a good mommies group around the Arlington area. I am new to the area. My husband and I recently moved to Mansfield for my husband's job. I knew lots of mommies in Virginia where we were before, but I would like to meet some around here.
The Mansfield library has a wonderful storytime program! The baby storytime is on Tuesdays at 10:30 or 11:30. The lady that does it is wonderful! The Activity Center has toddler time on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10-12noon. It is free with your MAC membership. I have met alot of people through this program and I go at least once every week, my girls love it as well as I do for the adult conersation. Hope this helps.
Go to meetups.com and type in your zip code and then at the top search "stay at home moms meetup groups". I joined it yesterday and they have a meet up the 11th. I hope you find what your looking for!

The Mansfield recreation center has toddler time on Wednesday. I think they also do it on Thursdays I'm not really sure you would have to check with them. They have tumbling mats, large blocks to build with and even a bounce house. It is very cheap all you do is buy a yearly pass. My sister goes and and it gives her 1 year old time to interact and it gives her time to interact with adults.
I would love to meet new people. My daughter is 6, but I have a lot of free time during the day and love the parks.
