Would love to make new mommy friends! I'm a first time, stay-at-home mom to my handful 7 month old little monster, Allison! Does anyone have any ideas where I can meet up with other moms? I've tried meetup and yahoo groups :)

Hey their. I know that if you go through the Central Dupage hospital there are groups for babys and toddler. They go to parks and lots of different thing together. Try to go online and call. I'm not exactly sure the phone number but they have some groups. I found these groups through the postpartum depression group. They help with questions and fun ideas for you and your kids. Also they have a thing in Stratford mall called big belly fitness. call the mall about it. another way to meet moms and work out with your baby too. I hope this helped you. I am in Germany right now being a military wife so i know that having other moms are a great help. There out there just keep looking and call places that you may think might know thats what i did.
We have a Bible study group on Tuesday mornings at First Presbyterian in downtown Aurora from 9-11:30. We have childcare workers who watch the kids while we have our study time. We have been meeting during the summer at area parks while the study is on break, but yesterday was our last scheduled play date. Our study starts again on Sept. 15th and registration is next Wednesday, the 26th.
