I know this post is from 2006 but did you find a mom group? Or, can you recommend a mom group? I am looking for one for a friend. Her baby is 2months old

i was a working mom up until june 29 and am a member of MOPB a yahoo moms group. they do stuff on weekends and go to parks on friday nights as well as do stuff during the week. i love these women and have been a member for 4 months. you do have to get approved but they just call and talk to you very simple. U can tell them i sent you or not up to you. My 20 mos daughter and i do stuff always. they do have a board and can be chatty at times but very full of helpful advice as well hope this helped

I know that Wellington Aquatic center has a great swim classes. Actually I think that there might be a group class that meets there in the evenings, this might help you find a playgroup as well. My friends have gone to the British swin school and seem to like that one too.
We are just starting private lessons with my daughter. The business is called "Aqua Pam"
