Seeking Mom's Group in New Haven, CT

I live in Milford and I would love to have a playgroup. I have a 3 year old and a 8 week old.

You should check out Mothers & More of Greater New Haven (www.mothersandmorect.com). I'm a stay-at-home-mom of two (one is 2 1/2 and the other is 1 year) in Hamden. Mothers & More is such a great resource. Lots of support, great network of moms. They offer playgroups, moms' nights out, monthly chapter meetings, book club, we do community outreach, and lots of other fun events. Great for help finding a pediatrician, preschool, (plumbers!) etc. etc. etc!!! I'm just so happy I joined that I really want others to join too - together mothers are powerful! :)

Hi, a few of us got together and started a playgroup that does alot of activities in hamden & new haven. we offer an organized meetup almost every day of the week and also treat our calendar and message board as a rescorce for people to find tons of fun family activities all over ct. if anybody is interested please contact us. the little explorers playgroup on meetup.com

Hi C.... I'm kinda doing the same thing, meeting ppl around with little kids so my 21 month old Gina can play and socialize. I live in West Haven, *but* am 9 mos. pregnant now so I don't get out much these days, but plan to again once I have this next girl! My daughter Gina is very gentle and nice, and very talkative too, sings nursery rhymes to herself all day long, talks well, is probably a good one to have around an 11 month old :) Keep me in mind for the future, but I probalby wouldn't be able to get together until after I have this little one! Only a few more weeks! :)
You're a former kindergarden teacher, that's great for your child and anyone else's that gets to be around, a plus! MY old nursery school teacher lives across town, and Gina benefits I know from seeing her often :) She is a warehouse of information and learning for my daughter. I'm always trying to expose her to as much as I can for her to learn and experience. Hope to talk to you soon, K.

There is a play group at Our Lady Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden, 06518 that I believe meets once a week.

I would enjoy meeting too, my daughter is 8 months old, I would like her to atart interacting with children her own age. i think that it is very beneficial for children this young.
