Hi!
I read your story and thought you might want to check out my website: www.kar.gomangosteen.com
Many menstrual problems are linked to a deficiency in certain vitamins and stress. I have had menstrual problems and have found amazing results with this juice. The company offers a 100% money back guarantee.

See your doctor. There could be some other medical issues. Don't rely on home remedies for female issues. There are so many more female medical problems out there now than we had 10 years ago. Make an appointment, it could be something very minor even stress can do this.

Try taking some parsley and making a tea out of it. That is an traditional method to start a period. You can also go to your local health/natural food store and see what they have to help regulate hormones naturally. After all, that could be the reason you havent been getting your period. I once bled for a month and the doc gave me a natural hormone cream to rub on my breasts (the skin is thinner there and can absorb more.) I was also taking a supplement called Ovex and my bleeding stopped in a few days. Good Luck!!

T., I do not know any home remedies, nor do I think there are any b/c it all has to do with the body internally and hormones, etc. But I do think however you may need to go and see a gynecologist for a check-up. This does not mean that there is something wrong, he or she could maybe help you find out the reason why you are irregular. You may be under stress and that could be a factor, or just have low estrogen. But you won't know this unless you see a doctor and/or keep a journal of your activities and such. Hope some of this helped!

My name is K. S and I own a home-based business called Arbonne. I have been in business for over 5 years and have learned so many things about our bodies. We have a natural hormone cream that should balance you out so that you will start your period. You are probably out of balance and have no progesterone in your body. You can check out my website at www.successfromtheheart.myarbonne.com and/or call me at ###-###-####.

Okay, I can understand the frustruation about your body not going along with what is expected. But did you know it isn't nessecery to have a period every month? Several types of birth control can hold off a period for months or even years. I wouldn't worry too much unless you are trying to get pregnant, in which case a visit to your doctor could help. As for natural home remedies to promote, a periode, I know of nothing. I wouldn't panic about your period not coming if you are sure you aren't pregnant. and enjoy the absence of pms while it lasts

First of all, it would be a good idea to find out medically what is causing the irregular periods. Do you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, do you have a thyroid issue, is something else out of whack? If the doctor says that you seem fine, then you can try some of the natural progesterone creams, etc.

Try checking out a book by Marilyn Shannon. I believe that it is called Diet and Your Cycle or Nutrition and your cycle. It is available from the Couple to Couple League (www.ccl.org I believe). You might also peruse their website to see what other suggestions they may have.

Many people may say birth control, but I don't believe this is a solution. My husband had a Christian program on one morning and I happened to hone in on a particular part where they were stating that it is best to get at the real cause of the issue. There was a statement to the affect tht birth control and drugs only work on the symptoms rather than determaning and treating the cause.

I would also suggest finding a doctor who is willing to work with you to avoid drugs and birth control.

I was 25 when I knew I wasn't pregnant. I've always had irregular periods, plus my fiance at the time had had a vasectomy 4 years before. I started having some strange problems (wont gore you with details), and after a month of them I was scheduled for a colonoscopy. The "cleanse" I had to use beforehand said "MAKE SURE YOU"RE NOT PREGNANT BEFORE USING THIS", so I did, and I was. Never say never - unless you've had a hysterectomy. Anyway, Akins has some herbals that will help you "start". Be warned tho, if you are pregnant, they will cause you to miscarry. You'd be better off talking to your gyno, as an interrupted cycle can not only be a sign of stress, but of something more sinister.

T. the only thing I know of to help with irregular periods is birth control. I know its not a home remedy but I know it helps. I would talk to a doctor about why your period is irregular. There is usually a reason behind it. I hope this helps

Hi T.. I also have had irregular periods all of my adult life (I'm now 30), until recently. My GYN always told me that "when I got older, I would get regulated". Never happened. My new GYN put me on Metformin (AKA Glucophage) for possible insulin resistance (I'm not diabetic). It has been shown in studies that it works very well to regulate women who may be insulin resistant, or have PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. It worked wonders for me!! After only a couple of months I was completely regular. My husband and I are now expecting our first baby. I don't think this would have been possible w/o the Metformin. Hope this helps. S.

schedule an appointment with your doc to see what might be causing it. I almost guarantee they will suggest birth control pills but I do NOT recommend that course of action (I've been there done that) because that is their quick fix and may work initially but will cause more harm over time. Ask for hormone level tests or they wont do them. If they will, see if you can get saliva tests instead of blood tests. This could be something you could easily fix with OTC natural progesterone cream (about $20 for a tube that lasts a month) or as serious as PCOS (which can also be helped [not fixed] with natural progesterone). There are other signs of PCOS like excessive body hair where it shouldn't be and extra weight.

What I wrote is just a teeny bit of possibilities but I don't want to overwhelm you too much.

ADDED: I just read some of the other responses. I wanted to say that I would contact Anne so she can help with nutrition etc. That has a huge impact on hormone balance. She might be on the right track with PCOS depending on if you have other symptoms of it. I have information you can read up on at www.women4balance.com/purity that might help too.

I have been practicing chiropractic for 14 years, and have seen periods regulate once a person gets under chiropractic care. It is safe, all natural, and helps your body function the way it is designed to function.

T.,

I am a nutritional counselor and wellness instructor.
I have 6 sisters and we have all had a variety of problems with irregularities. Sounds like you may possibly be dealing with P.C.O.S. (Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome).
I have helped many women find answers to this common problem.

Feel free to give me call and or email me.

Blessing,
