Seeking Good Hair Products to Bring Life Back to My Hair!!

Hello Ladies,
I'm needing some ideas on what shampoo and conditioner work for dry hair. Here recently noticed my hair has gotten really dry and thin. I used to use Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner. I did see a difference in the beginning and then went back to being dry. I feel I have tried everything you see on the shelf at Wal-Mart!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

What can I do next?

I'm a former hair stylist and I would reccommend using a good quality deep conditioner once or twice a week in addition to a good quality shampoo and conditioner until your hair starts feeling better. You can switch brands all you want and unfortunately, depending on the hair's damage there is not really a whole lot you can do to bring it back to life (if it's too far gone) and you might just need a good trim. There is a wonderful deep conditioner by Kerastase. You'd probably have to purchase it in a salon or online though. Be careful not to use flat iron, curling iron, hot rollers, ect. right now too- that could be one reason your hair is feeling dry. Hope that helps! :)

Start by purchasing some quality products from places like Ulta or a salon, not Walmart.

Pantene is good and reasonable and can be found at anywhere.shampoo.

We like the Chi products. Both daughter and I have long healthy hair. Daughter uses a Chi flat iron almost daily and her hair is beautiful. She uses Chi heat guard.
We both use the moisturizing Chi shampoo and conditioner. I love the Silk Therapy. Yes, it is pricey but it lasts a LONG time.

You can find deals on Chi and other good brands at Penney's, Ulta, etc. Ulta regularly has coupons in the paper for their products.

We also take Biotin which is good for your hair and nails.

Good luck.

Redken has great products. Chi is good unless you have fine, thin hair-which I do. I do use their iron guard for flat-ironing my hair. I buy all my hair stuff at Ulta.

I know this sounds strange, but you might try adding some olive oil to your conditioner. I put it in my hair about once a month at the recommendation of a friend and it has never caused me any problems.

Another vote for Kerastase. It's expensive, but good. I like the masque oleo relax. The serum is great too.
