I went through a really bad divorce almost 3 years ago(I'm 22). There is no easy way, but go to the courthouse and file, he will have 2-3 mnths to respond. If he doesn't show up to court, he's out of luck. The judge will either decided that he needs to pay child support and they'll track his butt down, or he'll grant you full custody, because he didn't show and by doing that showed no effort to have his girls in his life. You should talk to an attorney. But I believe that the procedure is that if you cannot find the other person you have to make a formal announcement in a newspaper. If they don't respond, then you only need your signature to get the divorce. Of course there is probably more to the process and you definitely need an attorney since it's such a complicated divorce.

I'm really sorry to here that you have to go through that. But to tell you there is NO easy way. Since you have kids 1 signature or easy way to get Divorced is not possible. You will want to talk to someone and please check refrences. It might be alittle easier if you do it know only because he left, and he did not leave you any info on how to reach him.
Basicly the court is going to ask you to call any relatives of his to get a hold of him, put an add in the paper of where you think he has gone, get a PI to find him, and etc. Because children are involved unless you can prove he his unfit, and unfortunly leaving his not proof enough. The courts usually give the mother primary custody and the father shared custody.Which means he gets vivitation rights.Just make sure you ask the court for residential primary custody Otherwise unless the court says or thinks that you are moving out of state for a good reason you could be stuck in the state till both children are 18.

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but you can go to the courthouse and file for divorce. The other party has so many days to responde (30 if correct). You put an ad in the paper. You do what ever you can to find the other. With no avail the judge will grant the divorce. As long as they see you have done all you can to locate the other. i think my friend who did it taht way paid a total of 300. I think do not quote me on that.
