Hi Mom's - I was wondering if anyone was willing to share their nap/feeding schedules with me? We recently made some changes and now Gabby gets 6oz's four times a day. She eats 3 meals as well with an hour wait between bottle and meal. I'd say she's eating roughly two small jars of Stage 2 food at each meal. Her naps are sketchy at best. She's a daycare baby and they write down her naps for me everyday and she does take a morning and afternoon nap. Where do snacks come in? Is it time to add a snack? and what kind of snacks did u do? a jar of fruit?

What can I do next?

9 mos old schedule
9am - (late riser), cereal
10am - 7oz breastmilk
12noon - cereal & 1/2 jar of fruit
1pm-3pm - nap
3pm - 7 oz breastmilk
5pm - jar of stage 2 dinner and finger food from the table
(butter bread, cheese, soft veggies, soft fruit, etc.)
8pm - nurses
8:30pm - bedtime
3am'ish - nurses
My daughter isn't a big fan of jarred food but LOVES cereal. She eats 2 huge bowls a day. She also gets a "snack" of Cheerios, Kix, or Gerber Puffs once during the afternoon. More to keep her busy than for nutrition.

Hi D.~I just wanted to let you know about a great website. It's called wholesomebabyfood.com. The site gives you feeding schedule ideas based on your childs age, as well as recipe ideas. One awsome recipe is sweet potato fries! It also teaches you how to pick out fruit and veggies. I just purchased 3 books off of amazon that have great recipes. Super baby food (Ruth Yaron), Mommy Made and Daddy too! (Martha and David Kimmel) ,New Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner (Annabel Karmel).
My son's schedule @ 8months:
7:00-bottle
8:30-breakfast
9:00-nap
11:00-bottle
12:30-lunch
1:00-nap
3:00-bottle
5:30-dinner
7:30-bottle,then bed
As for snacks~teething biscuits,fruit,puffs,ect...try to give healty snacks. I also gave my son a sippy cup between meals with water or with diluted applejuice. That way when it came time for the sippy cup he was familiar with it. Hope this gives you some ideas let me know if you like the website! JenP (my son is 14mon)

Breakfast- 6 oz & cereal
Lunch- 4-6 oz & 1 or 2 jar foods (some wait time in between)
nap 3-5 hrs
Snack- bitter biscuit/dried fruit/anything soft & healthy
Dinner 4-6 oz & 1 or 2 jar foods
another small snack sometimes depends on how much jar food she ate that day
6 oz before bed
Sometimes she has more formula than that. She's a big baby. I don't think the snacks are that important at this age but my daughter likes them.
