My husband too laments his hair loss but isn't freaking out about it. He has not used Rogaine but there is another product called; Thermal Fusion Hair Revitalizer that he uses and so does my brother. My husband had a similar issue. I found a Thickening shampoo and conditioner at Valley Natural Foods (in Burnsville). It has helped tons. Two ladies there suggested it as some of their family members had issues with hair loss. It is made by Avalon Organics and is a Biotin B-Complex Thickening formula. My husband used Rogaine for years w/ no results. I mentioned it to our doctor at the time and he suggested Propecia. Unfortunately, it was a prescription not covered by our insurance. My husband willingly ponied up the $65 a month and it has made a noticeable difference.
