I'm looking for suggestions for good restaurants within a reasonable distance from the Lewisville/Flower Mound area. One, I need a good place for Father's Day lunch/brunch, and two, I also need a suggestion for a group family setting for lunch/brunch for an upcoming baptism celebration. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So What Happened?

Thanks to everyone'e input. For Father's Day unfortunately, my husband was sick, so we ended up staying in. His girls and I did make breakfast for him together and we pampered him all day. They gave him cards and gifts and we all had a great time. I will keep your suggestions in mind for next year!

Hi Bridgette,
I have a couple of suggestions. Both places you can take children if you want to and 1 no children are allowed. Sneeky petes on lake Lewisville is awsome!! There are two pools one for children and one for adults. They have great food and drinks. Huge Place. Then there is Harringtons in lewisville they have games for kids for a nickle a piece plus great food and drinks. The thid place no kids areallowed and it is Dukes Original Road House. Fabulous!! Hope this helps. These are very guy friendly (it is fathers day after all) and great for groups.

I think Salernos would be a good choice for the baptism celebration. It is family owned (not a chain) and I would definately call ahead and let them know that you have a special occasion.

K.,
Have you tried Cappriccios in Parker Square? Their number is ###-###-####. We've done Mother's Day brunch there for the last two years. It is great but a bit pricy (I think this year it was $17 per person). I think that the kids were free but I can't remember (I have a 3 and 1 year old).
I don't know if they do a Father's Day brunch but you could check.
Good Luck!

La Hacienda Ranch is great for both. That's our family standby that we can all get too since it's midpoint for us. When we get together there's 11 of us. They've got quite a few tables that are setup for large groups so they know how to handle them. It's on the east side of 35 at Frankford. The food there is also fantastic.
