My neice has red spits on her arms and legs like size of an eraser and she has had fever from 101-102 for 2 days now. Fever comes and goes. The red spots arent swelled up but she doesnt want to be touched there. Doc says its just a sore throat. Anyone has had this with their child? Help please.

What can I do next?

It is possible it is a viral rash in connection with a sore throat, but there is no way for anyone here to know. I'm stumped by flat eraser-sized dots though. Usually a viral rash is more splotchy or a series of tiny dots in clusters.

If she was given antibiotics for a bacterial sore throat, and the rash developed after she started taking them, it could be a reaction to the medication and require contacting the doctor again ASAP.

It could be a lot of things but if she's had a tick bite lately it could be Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and she needs to get the right antibiotic to fight that.
Her parents should have another doctor take a look at it.

More info would help... How old is your daughter? Has she been around any sick kids lately?

My guess a form of the Measles, there are 5 forms of Measles. Is she vaccinated? If you went to a younger doctor, remember most doctors now have never seen a case of the measles. I recommend you find an older doctor or nurse and have them see her.

I think you should get a 2nd opinion from another doctor asap!

Sooooo, a sore throat caused her to break out in spots on her arms and legs....never heard of such a thing unless it was something else like Strep. Not just "a sore throat".

I'd suggest you call the doc's office and ask them to do a swab and see what grows.

I would be calling the doctor again or getting a second opinion. It sounds ridiculous they would say just a sore throat with the fever and red swollen spots. There's no way they should have just dismissed that. I would also consider changing doctors.
