Recommendation for Speech Therapist in Winchester, MA Area

This is my first time posting and I am hoping to get some great advice like I always seem to read for other people's posts! My almost 3 year old son has been seen by an ENT and by a speech pathologist at Children's Hospital. The result is that he has an evaluation of "phoneme specific nasal emission with a question of velopharynageal incompetence." The end result is that he has a strong nasal sound to some of his sounds to the point where it is difficult to understand him. Early Intervention doesn't want to give services (probably because he will be 3 in July) but I have been a pain enough that they have put him in a group session. My health insurance (Tufts) won't cover individual speech without a medical diagnosis (which we don't have) so my husband and I will be paying out of pocket for it. I work 4 days a week and his group speech through EI will be on the day I am home. My husband and I are trying to minimize the amount of time we have to take off from work and take our son out of school because we feel his school setting is important for his speech development. I am wondering if anyone can suggest a speech pathologist in the Winchester area? Preferrably, I would want someone who would be willing to go to my son's preschool for the sessions (even if it is only every other visit or every third visit)or who would consider a weekend session. I know this may be a pipe dream but I thought I'd throw it out to you folks and see what comes back!
Any suggestions are most appreciated.

what about checking at your oldest son's school?
my son got speech through the local school system after getting it at salem hospital for 2 summers and i just couldnt afford to spend the money every week so i contacted the school system and we worked out a schedule that worked for both myself and the speech therapist. the best part about that deal was that i didnt cost me a thing.
it worked for me maybe it will work for you.

Hi,
I am a kindergarten teacher and I know that many speech therapists will come to the school setting. I think that in general that one of the goals is to keep the child in as regular a schedule and environment as possible. I do not have a specifiic recomendation b/c I am not from your area but you should be able to find someone who will travel.
good luck.

Hi your son should be able to receive speech services through the scool system whwn he turns three. You should contact the special services department to initiate services which should be provided at school.
