I am having my daughter's baptism at the end of November and am looking for an inexpensive restaurant in the Orland/Tinley area. I was thinking pizza, salads, etc., but am open to other suggestions. Any ideas would be extrememly appreciated and helpful.

What can I do next?

What about Fox's Pizza in Orland Park, they have party rooms. I've been there but I never had a party there.

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at Giordano's in Orland Park but I had a small wedding party.

We had our daughter's baptism luncheon at Papa Joe's in Orland and found it to be the most reasonable, they also have a party room there and the food is good.

We recently had our son's baptism party at Little Joe's in Mokena, however they also have one in Tinley. They have the best prices on packages...I have shopped around quite a bit. Check them out...they have a pizza package as well.

Gattos in Tinley Park is a great italian restaurant. They give big family style portions for parties and the food is fab! They have a delish tilapia vesuvio and all the pasta dishes are great.
Their porkchops are great too and prices are reasonable. There is also another restaurant in palos called Sam Buccas that has amazing lemon chicken. Capri Restaurant in Palos on Harlem just down the street from Sam Buccas has delicious food but the owner is a bit on the rude side.

Check out Sanfratello's on 80th Avenue across from the train station in Tinley Park. I have booked rooms there and have attended parties that are just great! good prices, nice party room with attentive service, delicious food and good drinks...

Papa Joe's in Orland is really good for that. For our wedding rehearsal we went there and had pizza, salad, etc. I would definately call them. They have special rooms set up for occasions like that. WHere is the baptism???

I have been to two events in Tinley Park, that stood out in my mind. These were nice restaurants, not outrageously priced and food and service were very good! Great ambience for both. Both also offer pizza/Italian-type food.

Casto's - was a lovely location. I attended a baby shower for about 100 guests. Very nice!

And I loved Sanfratello's (another post listed this one). We attended a Wedding shower here. It's in a strip mall so... definitely walk in to get the feel of the restaurant.

Also, just a thought.. if it turns out that you have a location but just need catering, I enjoy Salina's Catering, in Tinley Park. Consistently good food and prompt, on-time service.

Good luck.
