So What Happened?

Like when someone sends me a flower for a post/response, I reread what I said and it affirms.

I don't specifically read each one but sometimes I do. I do look at who sends flowers and I tend to agree with many of the same "faces". I do always read my PMs.

KayB, you CAN read your messages without going through all your flowers. If you go to your 'inbox' screen, and click on 'show only' (top right) you can see your messages without your flowers getting in the way.

Hmmm, I wonder if this is why I haven't gotten answers to a lot of PMs! People don't realize! Anyway, I don't send nastigrams so if you see a message from me, it's all good!

:)

I have to look at my flowers. That red number up there SCREAMS as me.

not sure what you mean by 'reading the flowers.' i do buzz through the flower list before i hit the questions each morning. i don't re-read every post in detail. i often take a peek at responses posted after mine to see if there are any flowers i want to send.

I always look at my responses that got a flower! I like to know what it was someone liked/agreed with. And I also try and send a flower to all the responses I agree with. I think it's fun!

I do check them. It's nice to feel as if somebody thinks I wrote something useful.

I do review the responses that receive a flower and any responses that follow just to see how my advice compares. I'm also like Av and tend to see who else shares my parenting perspective. To me, it makes this site an even closer circle of moms (and dads).

Of course! Who doesn't want recognition for something well said or thought out? I love them, let's me know I do have some wisdom to offer now and again......and that I'm not nuts. Thank you to all of you who have sent me flowers and made my day ; )

I do go back and read, but mainly so that I can see responses made after my own or read any I may have missed the first time around. And sometimes I get really disappointed when I see that I had a ton of flowers on a particular question and the stupid question got pulled but I don't know which question it was.

I usually try to because I like to see what other comments and SWH have ended up on whatever I've answered. But if I look at the first one and there are, say, 5 flowers on my post, and that's how many I received, then I know that's where it all went. But I always read.

Aren't they just a flower? Wouldn't the number indicate you have more?
Are there messages with some? If so, I didn't notice them before.:0)
That is why I don't read them.

I do wish we could delete them so if I wanted to read private messages, I didn't have to scroll down rows of flowers.
