I am looking for someone who teaches private swimming lessons in the Everett area. My daughter is almost 6 years old and we want to get started right away.

What can I do next?

Both our sons took lessons at the Lake Stevens High School pool and are excellent swimmers. I think they may offer private lessons as well.

Check with Mariner High School. They might be able to give you some names.

K.,

Why private swim lessons? I teach swim lessons at the YMCA in Shoreline. We just started a new session, but you may want to look into your local YMCA and see what they have to offer.

If you have any questions I will gladly try to answer them.

Our kids started at the YMCA and then took further sessions in Snohomish, and we enjoyed both. We started with group lessons (and met some lifetime friends that way!) and didn't go to private lessons until we got to competitive levels. I would encourage you to consider starting at the Y because of the quality of people who work and use the services and facilities available there, then move to private lessons if you still want to, and after you have found an instructor that you like or that has been referred.
