Preschool in or near Frisco

My daughter is three and per FISD she misses the cut off to start Kindergarten until she is 5 will be turning 6 shortly after school starts. She is already in a preschool program that we started off loving and then my opinions have changed a bit. It's just not working out... She attends the Musical Schoolhouse at (around) $275/mth- 3 days noon-3:45pm.
Now we just received an email that tution will be increasing over $100/mth next year. If you pay in advance within the next 2 wks ( for next yr) your tuition only increases by $100 and registration fees are discounted. Seriously a 2 weeks "heads up" to spend amost $700 on preschool for next year for a three year old? So here are the questions I have:
I know that money should not be a factor if the education is amazing, but she is three. Am I right?
Do we pull her out for the remainder of the year and start preschool in the fall? She will be going to preschool for two more years.
How many years do your kids go to preschool?
What preschools do your children attend? Prices?
Thank you in advance for your answers!!!

What can I do next?

I don't know any preschools in Frisco, I'm in Flower Mound. But I wanted to put in my 2 cents. That preschool sounds expensive to me...a price increase of over 35%? That sounds ridiculous. I've heard from many parents who have tried both expensive and cheap preschools with their kids, and most say that their kids were just as prepared for Kinder going to a cheaper preschool. If it's the $ you're worried about, I would shop around...try local churches in the area, those seem to be the cheapest, around here anyways. But then again, if you REALLY love the preschool where she is now, it might be worth it! Just obviously make sure it's a place both you and she are comfortable with!
Personally, I put my kids in preschool for 2 years before they go to kinder. Right now, we are paying about $135/month, for T/Th classes, from 945 - 1. It's held at the local rec center, which I think is a big reason for it being cheaper.
Also, as you're looking around, I find the best way to compare prices (since there are different times, days of the week, monthly pricing, etc.) is to divide out how much you are paying per hour of her being in school. Good luck!

Both of my kids went to Sunny Days Christian Preschool and we LOVED it! It has been several years since we were there, so I'm not sure if it is the same today, but the teachers were very loving towards both of my sons and both of them were reading before they started kindergarten.

We have 2 children 2 1/2 & 5 (missed cutoff for Kindergarten), in a program called Bible Bears at a local church here. The program is great, this is the 3rd year for our son & 1st for our daughter and they really like it. They have a preschool type atmosophere, and there is some religion, but they have a very diverse student body, and I don't feel like they "over do it". Our son has learned alot over the past 3 years and I feel like they have done a good job preparing him for Kindergarten. The cost is very reasonable, $22/day, 2 days a week, T/TH, 9a-2p. I believe they're going to offer 3day classes next year. We are moving from TC to Little Elm in about a month, and we will be continuing to bring them to this school, and will probably continue w/our daughter after big bro goes to Kindergarten.

We attended Windhaven Academy in Plano. Right at Tollway & Windhaven/communications. It's been a while, but I think it was about $165 a week (5 days). We were in the same situation where my youngest birthday is in Nov. so he was in preschool that extra year. Anyway, we were happy with the school and the teachers. I really feel both kids were prepared for public school Kindergarten.

You don't say if you are a stay-at-home mom or that you work. If it were my 3-year-old, and I didn't work, I would keep her home and teach her stuff myself. I just don't believe kids have to be in schools from cradle to grave!
