I'd try Chesterbrook Academy. There's one in Lisle and 2 in Naperville. I love the one in Wheaton as far as day care preschools go! At pretty much any day care there is going to be some inconsistency in staffing, especially at those times because there is shifts in classrooms at the beginning and end of the day to accomodate room ratios, teachers being out, or whatever else. Though Chesterbrook tries to keep it as consistent as possible...especially during the primary preschool hours in the middle of the day. A home day care provides the consistency in caregiver, which is nice, but then you would need to find somebody you trust and who is open those hours and there is a big varience in structure with home day cares...some real structured and some not. But that's another route you could look in to. KinderCare has a reputation for not being the most professional and such. I hear there are some good ones out there, but overall I don't get very good feedback about them from parents who had children there and from staff who used to work there and then came to Chesterbrook. They would tell me how different it was and how Chesterbrook was so much better. Chesterbrook is professional and the curriculum is structured and organized. It's run like a preschool with day care hours. I hope that helps for options to look into! Best wishes to you.

J. - Check out COD's preschol. They are great and they have full-time care, as well.

Have you tried the Chesterbrook Academy in Lisle (on Ogden Ave)? I believe they have a pretty set pre-school schedule and are open til 6:15pm or 6:30pm.

It's going to be more expensive, but I was very fond of Chesterbrook Academy. I'm home now, but when I was working full time, he did extremely well there. It's a learning/play environment. We went to the one n South Wheaton, but I believe there's one in Lisle and one in Naperville.
