I am seeking suggestions/referals for full-day preschool with before and after care in the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area. Good and bad experiences are welcome. My son is 3 and need to find one ASAP.
Wheaton Montessori School is excellent in terms of quality and tuition in comparison to the other Montessori schools and others such as Kindercare, Chesterbrook, etc. They have a website: www.wheatonmontessori.org
They will allow you to observe a class for 20 minutes or so if you like.
My daughter (4) attends this school and she loves it.
Try Chesterbrook Academy (chesterbrookacademy.com). I sent my daughter to the one in Lisle, but I believe there is one in Wheaton, too. Loved it so much that my little one will go there too!
My granddaughter went to "Ina's Little Learners" at 3 SO 080 Cypress in Glen Ellyn..she is certified by the state. (This is in Valley View, adjacent to Butterfield Rd, East of Park. She was there since age 2 and now is in 1st grade and goes there before and after school. I don't have a phone #. They do a lot of learning there.
I've heard good things about Greentree (or is it Greenleaf) which is a facility on Jewel road right behind Cosley zoo. I think it might be a little pricey, but again, I've heard good things. Good luck!
