Has anyone heard of, or used, the WeeMinder potty training system? We saw it at the store today, and I looked it up online, but I'm a little skeptical. Basically, it's a book, dvd, and timer that the child wears (like a watch) that plays a song to remind them to go to the potty. If anyone has tried it, I would love to hear your results or ideas. We're are at the potty training stage with my youngest, who doesn't really care much about the potty.....

You can let your kid run naked since the weather is getting warmer. Especially since she's a girl, she will learn really quick! I bet it will just happen a few times before she starts sitting on the potty.

I just finished using Lois Kleint's book Potty Training in Three Days and it's working really well for us. At 2.5 my son will not tell us when he has to go, we have to just set him on it like the book says. He's done REALLY well with it and all my friends that have used it have had success too...

I tried using a potty watch with my 2.5 yo and he won't even wear the watch. He (like your daughter has no desire to be potty trained- but I think he is not ready since he can't dress himself and still wakes with a very wet diaper in the morning). I took out the book How to Potty train you child in one day from the library if you are looking for resources. I never heard of WeeMinder though- sorry

We just began potty training about 2 weeks ago. I decided to bring the little potty into the family room (I know it sounds kind of yuck, but it is to give them the visual reminder). It definitely is working, we moved it closer to the bathroom after 1 week and now his potty is in the bathroom. He makes it 95% of the time! He is even wearing underwear for short trips to the store or out to dinner. Just watch for their signs and remind regularly. Give a small prize (we do 1 m&m) Also Wal-mart sells training undies, they are padded so they don't leak as much. Now going #2 in the potty we have yet to master, anyone knows how to get that to happen let me know.

Best of luck!

i dont' know anything about that. But i just started to use an egg timer with my 2 and 1/2 year old. She is doing good at holding her pee but she NEVER tells us she needs to go. She has responded positivly and will come and tell me that the timer went off. Which is a good first step.
