Hi my daughter will be 4 in a couple of weeks and is really getting sick of playing with mom and all the boys in our neighborhood. I was wondering if anyone out there has a little girl age 3-5 or so who would like to start a playdate/group. I would be happy to host and have crafts/snacks/projects for the kids so they can get to know each other and see how it goes, or they can go crazy in our basement with all the barbies/polly pockets and beauty salon/dress up stuff in the world as well as an indoor inflatable bounce house. (rough life for these kids!) Let me know!
It looks like you had good responses on some people close by, but if it doesn't work out look into joining a local mom's group. I think there is an Elk River mom's group. I belong to At Home Moms Network of Monticello and love it. You can go to as much or as little stuff as you'd like. I have 2 boys so I can't help you out.... I wish I had a little girl. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm. :) Good luck with finding playdates!
I might be interested, we're too not far from Elk River. My daughter will turn 4 on the 10th and we are surrounded by boys as well!
We're always looking for new playdates, especially with the spring fever we have going on here! We live in Cambridge, which is quite a hike from Elk River, isn't it? I'll look it up, but if the commute isn't too long, we'd love to get together. I have a 2.5 yr old and a 14 month old.

ok, I am getting the idea that 4-5 year old girls are hard to come by. My daughter is surrounded by boys. I would love to get together,however, between my 3 children I am not sure there is a lot of time for us. Let me know is you don't find someone.
I have twin girls who turned 4 in October - and a son who will be 3 in May. We're always looking for fun things to keep us occupied! The girls are sometimes overwhelming, because there is two of them - they like to hear themselves talk! ;o) I'm in Ramsey - about 5 miles from Elk River.
