Hi Everyone.
Since I moved to Beaverton from SE Portland, I haven't met too many people in the area. I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works 50-60 hours a week, so it starts to get a little lonely. Anyone want to meet up for a play date, or a mama's day out, or have any suggestions on how to meet people?
I so understand where you're coming from. I have a 4-year-old son as well and a husband who works 12 hours a day. Here are couple of places I've turned to meet people.
MOMS Club--I belong to the one in Hillsboro, but I'm sure there's one in Beaverton, too.
Meetup.com--There are loads of parents groups to check out as well as meetups on other topic areas as well.

I live in the Cedar Mill area, which is pretty much Beaverton and would be interested in some playdates. I work M,T, TH, Friday, but am free on Wednesdays. I have a 3 year old daughter, she is in school M-TH until 11:30 so afternoons work better for us. I could definately use some more "girl friends" as I feel like I am consumed by my family. I also have a 7 year old stepdaughter and an 8 week old son, so time alone or with friends is a rarity for me :)

Hi! I'm C. and have a 5 1/2 year old. I live in the Cedar Mill area (a Portland address but practically Beaverton)and would love to get together for a playdate sometime. Kayley is in full time daycare/preschool but I can always sneak her out early, and weekends usually work for us as well. I'm always up for dinner at Papa's pizza, and as the days get longer, we have a huge yard and trampoline and live close to a park. Welcome to the area!

If you put in zip code 97062 it should pop up as the weekend group for working parents (I am a single working mom and wanted to start one on the weekends.) I would love for some people to join so we can have a meeting, maybe on a Saturday morning or something?
