Phil & Teds Buggy

Can anyone share their personal opinion of the Phil & Ted's inline Buggy. I have a 3 year old and a new baby on the way, so I'm looking for a lightweight dual-stroller and so far only the Phil & Ted's has what I'm looking for, but the price is making me a little hesistant.

What can I do next?

I LOVE our Phil & Ted's. I got it when I was pregnant with my second so I could continue to hike while pregnant (I previously hiked with our 2 yo in a backpack). Its beemn a great off-roading stroller and now with two (my son is now 3.5 months old) its awesome. I take walks three to four times a week with both of them, its compact (fits in the trunk of my Corolla!) and quite convenient. My suggestions: get the panier bags (saddle bags) as when in infant mode its hard to get at the basket and when in two-toddler mode the second child's feet are in the basket. Also- the sunshade is quite small so I got a kidopotamus shade (attaches to ANY stroller) and that made a big difference on sunny days.to me it was worth the money to have the compact option as there's no way I could take a double-wide on most of my hiking trails.

I just purchased my Phil & Ted, but it took me a year because of the price and now I kick myself for not doing it earlier. My girls are 13 months and 3 1/2. My oldest was okay not being in a stroller until after her sister was born and then suddenly she wanted back in, especially after we got rid of the infant carrier. She then tried sharing her single stroller with her sister and that got very tight with space and hard to manage. The Phil & Ted is so easy to use even with both girls in it. I would say my only complaint is lack of storage underneath when the second child is in and that there is no cup hold/tray to put snacks on. However, P&T does sell accessories to help resolve both of these issues. I bought my stroller at Baby Town, but I know you can also buy them online as some good prices.

I have one and love it, we bought it at The Right Start in Sherman Oaks. I have a one year old and an almost 3 yr old, and my 3yr old likes sitting in the back. I got it when I was pregnant with my 2nd too. I used it for my baby when he was young too, and it was really nice.

very happy w/mine and tall 4yr. old, 38 lbs, is very comfortable in it. When we're out walking around people are surprised to find a sleeping baby "under" him. It handles extremely well. I only wanted an inline as well and found that Graco makes one, but the top weight for the older kid is 40 lbs which would have been too limiting for me.
