I have 10 month old son. He is waking up every night for the past few weeks saturated in the middle of the night. I have to change him and his linens every night. Before he goes to bed at 8pm, he has a 6 oz bottle. I put a night time diaper on......size 5....... And he is still peeing through every night. He only weighs 22 lbs. I tried going up to asize 6 diaper, but that didn't work either. Are there any helpful hints or suggestions you can share? Thank you!
If he's only 22 lbs, a size 6 is WAY too big. Even the size 5 is too big, based on looking at the lb size on the diapers online. He should be in size 4 to be the "right" size, so maybe try a size 4 (so it doesn't end up gapping anywhere) with one of the inserts someone else mentioned.

Huggies overnights and make sure he is wearing a onesie to hold it in place.
Try a doubler or an insert. I got some at Babies R Us when DD was little. You might also try a different kind of diaper or making it tighter than you think you need it. I don't know what diaper you are using but Pampers Baby Dry worked pretty well for us.
huggies overnight diapers are very absorbant.. you can buy diaper doublers which look like maxi pads put one in the diaper in the pee zone and it will catch the wetness.
It's not the size, it's the brand. We had to try all sorts of brands and no-name brands before we could find the right one for our son, when he was a baby. Of course it wound up being the most expensive...I think it was Luvs that was more absorbant for him.
What kind of diapers are you using? I know that the cheap diapers didn't work for my daughter. She'd soak right through them, especially over night. Pampers worked the best for us as far as absorbency. They are more expensive, but they absorb so much more, meaning you have to use significantly fewer diapers because they last a lot longer. Luvs have always been the ones that worked best for us...never any leaks, even at night!
We used diaper doublers from Babies R Us and that made a huge difference. Making sure he is in the right sized diaper is also important - bigger is not always better, as it may allow for more leaks. If he is a heavy sleeper, you also could try changing him right before you go to bed.
Huggies Overnights rock! That or a Poise pad inside the diaper - works great!
My son had the same problem. We discovered Huggies Overnite Diapers and they really work. We use Pampers during the day but they are not good for nightime. Try Huggies Overnites int he Purple box.
Put an over night sanitary napkin in the diaper too. I often would just cut it in half and put it in the front so absorb some of the urine.
