Try 2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 2 cups warm water. Blot at the spot until damp, and then use a clean cloth to absorb the wetness. May have to repeat to lift all the stain.

Try "Totally Toddler" from Wal-Mart or KMart--if they still have it. We have not needed it for awhile, but I used to use it when kids were small. I have also used pet products on people accidents. Good Luck!

If you have, or know someone who has, a carpet cleaner with attatchments use the attatchments and shampoo it with a mild soap and water solution. A little bit of vinegar neutralizes the ammonia in the urine so you won't have any left over odor. I also put a little (tiny) bit of fabric softener in the "brew" so it acts like febreeze and makes it smell better. Then set the cushion aside to air dry. We have had this happen about a zillion times and this seems to work every time.

Hi M.,
We had a cat that had a bladder infection that peed on one of our couches. Those of you with cat's know how bad it smells. We used Natures Miracle that you can buy at PetSmart. We had to let it dry between applications and put it on a couple of times but it got the smell out.
I would try it.
Good luck!

When warm weather gets here, take it outside and run a water hose through it very thoroughly; spray with a cleaner, rinse again; then squeeze the water out (in the bathtub to finish); then take it outside to air dry. That's what I have done and it works. ( I can't stand "pee-diddly" furniture!)

There are a lot of great products on the market. Pet Stain and Odor reducers (which work as well on human as pet stains and odors) that can be safely used. I suggest white vinegar too. It will remove the stain and the smelll.

My son did the same thing this week, I use the Woolite Oxy Carpet cleaner. I used the foam version, also, on our enitre coach last summer in place of having it steam cleaned and it worked wonderful as well.

I CAN TOTALLY ANSWER THIS ONE WITH 100% GUARANTEE. This will work!

At the local pet store, (Petsmart has it), get a bottle of Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Stain and Odor Remover.

It comes in a white jug with red and black writing.

It's actually for cat accidents, and you know how hard that smell is to remove! But, it has an enzyme that breaks down anything from urine, vomit, food, etc.

It saved my mattress and couch!

Carpet cleaner "RESOLVE" Spray works (its the foam kind), use that scrub it in deeply after it sits for 15minuts. Than dry it with vacuum cleaner and than spray it with the carpet foam spray "THE FRESHENER"!! We had problems like that when my sisters kids would stay over, also our female cat would pee on our coach. Not any longer do we have problems with the stench. Good Luck!

I've had that issue few times, there's a foam on, no vacuum carpet cleaner I use, just a second I'll check the name of it. Dollar General brand, No vacuum, foam carpet freshner. I spray it on, wait a few minutes, then rub it in/off with a dry washcloth. let it dry completely then its good, no smell or stains left

Most Pet stores carry 'Miracle Pet'. Saturate with Miracle pet and allow to completely dry. It's been awhile since I've had to buy it, but it was in a white bottle with red writing. I have tried the off brands, but they do not work as well especially on stains. Best Wishes!
