Pediatrician Recommendation in Ocean County, NJ

Interview is my suggestion and even with that you never know. I am once again looking for a new Pediatrician. We are leaving Stepping Stone Pediatrics in Wall. ( Dr Micale and Dr Alex) due to the fact that they dont always return calls even the after hour emergency calls. This didnt happen just once either, 4 times. I myself feel that my childrens Pedi should especially be returning the emergency calls when I am not sure if I can take care of something from home or need to head to the emergency room. I did like the fact that she was a D.O and would work with me not wanting to push Antibiotics but she didnt return my call when I left a message about my conserns with the call situation and was considering leaving the office, that was when I had to look at the fact that my children were not a priority or even a concern. So

I go to Stepping Stone Peds in Wall (but it's right off the Pkwy on Rt 138) and there are two GREAT drs. They are young w/ young kids. I'm not sure of the immunization thing, though, but seem very flexible and open on other topics.

Hello J. I live in Toms River and use Pedi Affiliates on Bey Lea Road, they are open 7 days a week 365 days a yr! I use Dr. Verdi and she is very good but there are other dr's in the practice...They also have 5 offices around Ocean County. Good Luck in finding a dr. M.

I also use Silverton Pediatrics for my 17 month old twin boys and I'm very comfortable with them. I've also asked about delaying certain shots and they are understanding about that. They are actually located on Church Road, right off of Hooper Avenue. Across the street from the Walgreens.

My 3 kids have always gone to Silverton Pediatrics. I don't know if they will stagger the shots, but they do give you info sheets on them. They have 4 doctors practicing there now.

My name is J. and I also live in Toms River. I have 3 sons: 12 1/2 yr. old, 8 yr. old & a 5 yr old. Our Pediatrician is M & M Pediatrics in Ramtown, NJ--####-###-####. Ramtown is in between Brick and Howell. I have been with M & M for 13 yrs. and I love them! I control when my kids were/are immunized at all times! They are a husband and wife team. Give them a call and they will be able to answer all of your questions. GOOD LUCK!

I use Silverton Pediatrics in Toms River. They are on Kettle Creek Road, directly off of Brick Blvd (Hooper Ave). All of the doctors I have seen in the practice are fabulous, there are over currently practicing there.

I go to Brick Peds on Route 70 and Burnt Tavern/Bridge Ave. It's a bit of a ride for her - but they are wonderful. I recently ref'd them to my friend (her son was born with spinal bifida) She loves them - they are great with vaccines and they know who you are when you go to the office. My doctor is Dr. Sandeep. When I go there for Elizabeth - she remembers Emily and vice versa - it's really great. My last doctor was not like that at all - they didn't even remember the patient at the time.
