I am due in October with our first little boy!!!
I am trying to find a recommended pediatrician that is located between Hallandale and Fort Lauderdale, preferably East of 95. I have Neighborhoood Health Partnership insurance and will be delivering at Memorial Regional Hospital, if that helps.
Question: is it better to find a Pediatrician close to your work/daycare or near your home? Your thoughts appreciated.

I would recommend Children's Medical Center. They have several locations. One location is right across the street from Memorial Regional Hospital. The phone number is ###-###-####. There are several doctors in the office and they are wonderful. My 2 youngest boys see Dr. Samuels and I absolutely love him.

My sister has this great doctor her name is Dr. Jacinta Magnus and she is right across from Hollywood Memorial. They work 7 days a week the number is ###-###-####. They are a group of doctors. They do everything there labs, xrays etc.
I love mine, Pediatric Associates. they are everywhere- the one that i go to is in Hollywood....
Congratulations! I would have to say that based on my experience (15 month old son) when baby is sick, you aren't going to work and baby isn't going to daycare so closer to home is better. Also look for one that is open some hours on the weekends and evenings for sick children! The worst illnesses will be on the weekend or in the middle of the night:)
