my BEST advice on this is to get the ones from babyhopes.com. Get the cheap ones you stick in a cup of urine.

I had a hard time getting pg and needed Clomid. These strips were GREAT and I managed to get pg twice with them (1 miscarriage and then pg the month after my miscarriage. My son is almost 2)

My SIL, who only has ONE working ovary, tried for over 2 years to get pg. She tried IUI TWICE and tons of different drugs. Her doctor told her to give up. She asked me what I used, I told her, she ordered them, and got pg the FIRST month. Granted, she miscarriaged, but after she was cleared to try again, she got pg the FIRST month after being cleared to try again. Her daughter is 7 months old now.

They are super accurate and CHEAP!

femta.com is an online ovulation prediction tool that worked great for me. you can have a free trial - i'm not sure how much it costs after the free trial because each time i've used it i've gotten pregnant before the trial ended. my first pregnancy took more than 3 years to conceive. my second and third were two or fewer months. good luck.

I actually bought one of the little digital reader things off e-bay for 1/3 the price and it came with like 15 test sticks too.... the first time I used it, I got pregnant. I let two of my friends borrow my digital monitor thing and they just bought their own test sticks (not cheap either $50 a box or so)... check with a friend and see if you can just borrow one. :) I don't have experience with just the little sticks... I used the digital monitor. Good luck!

I never had much success with the stick test, too much room for interpretation. What I found that worked better and is free was using some of the baby websites such as babycenter.com and so forth and some have ovulation calendars where you can track your periods (lengths and so forth) and from that they can give you an idea of what days you are ovulating.

I used these for both of my pregnancies and they worked great! I was 34 years old the first time I got pregnant and my hubby and I tried and tried for the better part of a year but to no avail. Then I got the Ovulation Predictor Kit and "badda bing, badda boom" - preggers. The second time I didn't wait - just bought the kit the day we decided to start trying.
